Caribena versicolor is also known by the common name Antilles Pink Toe or just Versicolor. This is a very popular and highly sought after New World species. They are very uniquely colored with purple to pink colored hairs. As slings they are blue and fuzzy and eventually develop their adult coloration. This is a species of tarantula that comes from the Caribbean Islands. The versicolor needs good cross ventilation in order for them to survive. Slings can be delicate and hard to keep.
