G pulchripes is also known by the common name Chaco Golden Knee. This is a hobby favorite and good beginner species. They are known for being docile and timid. They have beautiful coloration with their golden banded legs. 
 
The chaco likes a dry environment with a water bowl. They are terrestrial and will often rearrange and move items within their habitat. They are often seen out in the open. They like 60-65% humidity and temperatures between 65-78 degrees.
 
Life Span:
Females can live between 15-25 yrs
Males live significantly shorter life spans of 5-6 yrs.
